Lakeshore Transportation is seeking dependable and compassionate drivers to join our growing team. We provide non-emergency medical transportation services for elderly individuals and people with disabilities throughout the Sheboygan County area.
Safely transport clients to and from medical appointments and other essential destinations
Provide friendly, patient, and respectful assistance to all passengers
Assist clients with walkers, wheelchairs, and other mobility needs (training provided)
Maintain a clean and safe vehicle
Communicate with dispatch throughout your shift regarding schedules and ride updates
Must be at least 26 years old
Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and clean driving record
Must pass a background check and drug screening
Patience and compassion are essential
Prior experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is a plus but not require
Background Check Requirement:
Employment with Lakeshore Transportation is contingent upon successful completion of a background check. Due to contractual requirements with the managed care organizations we serve, applicants must have no criminal convictions. Individuals with a criminal history are not eligible for employment in this position.
Flexible part-time hours available
Full-time opportunities for the right candidates
Currently closed on weekends, though occasional weekend availability may be an option in the future

Lakeshore Transportation is seeking dependable and compassionate drivers to join our growing team. We provide non-emergency medical transportation services for elderly individuals and people with disabilities throughout the Sheboygan County area.
Office Administration (Primary – ~75%)
Manage billing, claims, and invoicing processes (QuickBooks experience a plus, but not required).
Answer incoming phone calls and provide excellent customer service to clients and care coordinators.
Schedule and coordinate transportation rides in our system.
Maintain accurate records, filing, and data entry.
Assist management with general office tasks as needed
Driving (Secondary – ~25%)
Provide safe, reliable transportation for clients to medical appointments, programs, and activities.
Assist clients with mobility needs, including operating wheelchair lifts and securing wheelchairs.
Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures to ensure client safety.
Maintain trip logs and documentation as required.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly.
QuickBooks experience preferred but not required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and comfortable working with elderly and individuals with special needs.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no major violations in past 5 years) and at least 26 years old (this is a requirement from our insurance).
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Must be a team player willing to pitch in where needed.
Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk and while driving.
Ability to assist passengers in and out of vehicles.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
Ability to bend, kneel, and stand as needed to assist clients.

Full-time from 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday

Perform routine maintenance including oil changes and brake jobs
Inspect and replace windshield wipers, lights, and other small components
Conduct basic repairs on company vans as needed
Assist with diagnosing minor mechanical issues
Keep accurate maintenance records and communicate repair needs
Help ensure all vehicles meet safety and operational standards
Previous mechanic or maintenance experience preferred
Ability to perform basic vehicle repairs and maintenance
